Danique Dusée

Vocalist

As a versatile singer and performer, Danique thrives in environments where no two days are the same. Her career began working at a campsite, where she learned to perform under pressure, work with children, create shows, and switch effortlessly between a wide variety of musical styles — often with very little preparation and a healthy dose of improvisation.

For several years, Danique has also worked as a freelance singer, performing at concerts, weddings, and celebrations, both with live orchestras and backing tracks. During her studies, she produced and directed several concerts, while also taking the stage herself.

Her professional musical theatre career began with the role of Elisabeth in Elisabeth the Musical, for which she received a Musical Award for Upcoming Talent. Just one day later, she embarked on an adventure in China, touring with the German-language musical Mozart. She went on to perform as Leah Liebman in 40-45, a spectacular production she learned in just two days, followed by Bokkenrijders, an outdoor spectacle featuring horses, stunts, and drones.

One thing is certain: unexpected challenges bring out her best. Recently, she was called at 11:30 p.m. on a Monday to replace a sick soloist — and performed the concert the very next evening. For Danique, pressure isn’t a problem; it’s where the adventure begins.
