Joran Fokkens

Joran Fokkens is a dynamic and versatile singer, dancer, and actor, originally from Emmeloord, a Dutch town surrounded by farmland. Growing up among the fields, it’s no surprise he spent seven years working as a farmhand alongside his studies, an experience that not only gave him strong muscles but also a strong work ethic. After completing secondary school, Joran followed his creative ambitions and trained in musical theatre and vocal performance at the C.I.C.K. Academy in Zwolle. He then continued his professional development at Fontys Academy of the Arts, specializing in Musical Theatre.

Joran has been performing since childhood, taking vocal lessons from the age of ten and attending musical theatre classes for as long as he can remember. At eleven, he joined operetta ensembles and soon progressed to solo roles. Over the years, he has broadened his artistic range by combining his deep-rooted passion for musical theatre with a growing love for pop music. With a warm baritone/tenor voice, infectious energy, and a down-to-earth attitude, Joran brings authenticity and flair to every stage he steps on.
