Mathilde Hanemaaijer

Mathilde Sofie Hanemaaijer, better known as Mathilde, is an energetic singer with great capacity. She has a preference for classical music but is an all-round vocalist. She originally started taking music lessons because she was very shy. It was there that she found her passion for music, and she has been inseparable from the stage ever since. Singing is what she loves doing most, and she does it with complete dedication. She is a true team player and very eager to learn; she is always at the front of the line for new challenges. She will graduate from the Dutch Academy of Performing Arts in 2026, where she discovered that she is a true soprano. Initially, she was convinced that she was an alto. By now, those high classical notes have become her comfort zone. In her singing, the focus lies on emotion. Regardless of the language she sings (Italian, Dutch, German, or English), conveying the story is where her strength lies.
