Mees de Heus

Mees de Heus is a musical theatre performer based in Amsterdam, The

Netherlands. After graduating high school in 2021, he began his studies in musical

theatre at the Frank Sanders Akademie for Musical Theatre, where he developed as

an all-round vocalist and performer.

With a rich and versatile voice, strong movement qualities, and a natural talent for

harmonizing, Mees brings depth and flexibility to every production he joins. His

passion for storytelling through music makes him at home in a wide range of genres,

from classical musical theatre to contemporary styles.

In 2024, Mees made his professional debut as part of the ensemble in the musical

“40-45”, produced by Studio 100. He is currently performing as an on-stage swing in

the Dutch national tour of the musical “Elisabeth”, produced by Albert Verlinde

Theater.
