Sammy Uivel

Sammy Uivel began her musical journey during her high school years, where she pursued a combination of academic studies and training at Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts. It was during this time that Sammy got the lead role in the popular Nickelodeon series "Spotlight,".

Sammy continued to her passion for the arts by successfully obtaining a Bachelor's degree in musical theatre at the Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, leading her to be a part of the Dutch & Belgium tour of "Annie: The Musical" shortly after graduation.

Driven by her passion for singing and theater, Sammy decided to further develop her skills by pursuing a master's degree in music theater. Her commitment to excellence culminated in the production of her graduation show, "Prima Facie," written by Suzie Miller and directed by Benno Hoogveld, earning her top honours, cum laude.

Currently, Sammy is building her career as a freelance singer on land and on different cruise lines like P&O, Color Line and Disney Cruise Line.
