Shannon Wouters

Having grown up in a family of musicians, Shannon had an early exposure to live music, touring, and studio sessions across Europe, which sparked her curiosity for music and performing. From this exposure, her passion for music continued to grow, and she took every opportunity to perform in front of live audiences, ranging from school productions to singing solo at weddings.

As a child, Shannon started piano lessons and joined a musical course to further her understanding of music. As part of Shannon’s secondary education, she studied a BTEC Extended Acting course, expanding her performance skills. Following this, she took a preparatory course at Maastricht Conservatoire, where she received lessons in piano, vocals, and music theory, with the ambition of focusing on music in higher education.

Shannon completed her bachelor’s degree in Popular Music at the University of Northampton and her master’s degree in music performance at LCCM London. During her time at UON and LCCM, she performed at various band nights, pubs, festivals, and pre-show concerts in theaters. This course gave Shannon a strong foundation in a broad range of the knowledge and skills needed for a career in music and solidified her desire to pursue work as a professional musician.

Shannon has the ability to connect with an audience and take them on an emotional journey, a key skill in her professional performances.
