Silke van Durme
Vocalist
Originally from a small village near Ghent (Belgium), Silke carries a backpack full of stories from wider horizons. She has studied across Belgium, Portugal, Spain, and the Netherlands. A Cum Laude graduate in Event and Project Management, she gained strong behind-the-scenes experience—but her passion for performing took over.
During a management internship with Flemish cabaret artist Els de Schepper, she actually spent most of the tour studying the scenes and performance.
Love brought her to Spain, where she learned Spanish and studied with opera singer Ricardo Barrul Martin. The relationship didn’t last, but the skills did!
Silke then pursued full-time artistic training at the Dutch Academy of Performing Arts, further developing her performance and creative skills. She performed her original song Smoke with the Residentie Orchestra of The Hague, and created a theater show inspired by Elvis Presley, performed with the Belgian rockabilly band One Dollar Trio.
Versatile and experienced, Silke brings professionalism, stage presence, and adaptability to every role, thriving across musical theater, chanson, pop, rock, and original work, ready for any stage!
